A legendary name, a new identity

The Rumble Bee badge carried weight with Mopar fans back in the 2000s, and Ram brought it back with the hardware to back it up.

This isn't a trim package bolted onto a regular 1500.

It rides on a shortened wheelbase, wears a widebody stance, and comes exclusively in a Quad Cab short-bed layout unavailable anywhere else in the 1500 range. The result is a truck that sits lower and wider than the rest of the lineup, built around one goal: serious presence backed by serious performance. Its exclusive Quad Cab short-bed layout also makes it stand apart from the usual Ram 1500 configurations, where the choice between Quad Cab vs. Crew Cab often comes down to passenger space and everyday practicality.

Four trims make up the family: the base Rumble Bee, the Rumble Bee 392, the 392 Track Pack, and the range-topping Rumble Bee SRT, the fastest production truck ever. Period.

Three V8s, three different personalities

There are three different HEMI engine, and the one you choose changes how the truck feels completely.

The base Rumble Bee gets the 5.7L HEMI V8, dependable and ready to go the moment you want it.

Step up to the Rumble Bee 392 and 392 Track Pack and you get the 6.4L HEMI V8, nicknamed "Apache," bringing the deep growl and torque only a big-block V8 delivers.

At the top, the Rumble Bee SRT runs a supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 with a twin-screw supercharger, making it the quickest street-legal V8 pickup Ram has ever sold. The numbers speak for themselves: 777 hp, 680 lb-ft of torque, a targeted top speed of 274 km/h, 0-96 km/h in 3.4 seconds, and an 11.6-second quarter-mile.

By the way, this is also the engine you’ll find on the all-new TRX, which earns the SRT badge for the very first time.

Here are the engines, at a glance:

2027 Rumble Bee trim Engine Horsepower Torque 0-96 km/h Quarter-Mile
Rumble Bee 5.7L HEMI V8 395 hp 410 lb-ft 6.1 s 14.6 s
Rumble Bee 392 & Track Pack 6.4L HEMI V8 "Apache" 470 hp 455 lb-ft 5.2 s 13.2 s
Rumble Bee SRT 6.2L Supercharged HEMI V8 777 hp 680 lb-ft 3.4 s 11.6 s

Hardware built to match power

Putting 777 hp to the ground safely takes more than just a big engine. The SRT and 392 Track Pack ride on 325/40R22 Goodyear all-season tires rated for speeds up to 274 km/h, while the base Rumble Bee and 392 use 285/45R22 Pirelli performance tires. Both setups sit on lightweight 22-inch aluminum wheels.

Stopping power comes from new SRT Brembo six-piston front calipers paired with the largest brake rotors in the segment. An available Class-Exclusive 4-Corner Air Suspension System sharpens handling at speed, and a dual passive cold-end exhaust gives the truck a sound that matches its look.

As if that wasn’t enough, two features exist purely for pushing the limits. First, there’s Track Mode, which recalibrates the engine, transmission, steering, and suspension for focused performance, and on SRT models it lowers the air suspension to its minimum setting to bring the center of gravity down.

Then you get Launch Control, standard on the SRT and 392 Track Pack, which manages wheel slip and torque delivery for a clean launch every time.

A cabin built around the driving experience

Inside, comfort and performance share the same space.

Front bucket seats and folding rear seats keep things practical, while a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel gives extra thigh clearance in a low, sporty driving position. The integrated paddle shifters let you hold a gear through a corner or under hard acceleration instead of waiting on the automatic transmission to decide for you.

The console-mounted shifter includes a manual mode for an even more hands-on feel behind the wheel.

On the SRT, the segment's largest touchscreen unlocks Performance Pages, giving you real-time readouts on horsepower, torque, and boost pressure, along with the ability to fine-tune settings and log your runs.

Dual wireless charging pads keep devices powered without cluttering the console, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with active noise cancellation delivers a premium sound experience, while still keeping the cabin quiet when you want it.

What this means for you

If you want the classic muscle truck feeling paired with modern capability, this is the truck built for exactly that. It's not chasing payload numbers or bed length. It's built for someone who wants heads turning at every stoplight and a genuine V8 growl underfoot.

The 392 delivers big-block sound without going full supercharged. The SRT is for buyers who want it all: outright power, track-tuned handling, and the fastest numbers Ram has ever put on a production truck. For another perspective on Ram's performance-focused pickups, the Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 showcase different approaches to power, handling and off-road capability.
